We thank all the participants of NDS-2017 for trusting us and contributing to a global platform where important aspects of various neurological disorders were discussed. The conference was marked with the attendance of young and brilliant researchers, business delegates and talented student communities representing more than 30 countries, who have driven this event into the path of success.

The summit inaugurated on July 06, 2017 in the golden gate city, San Francisco, USA by the Organizing Committee chairmen; Dr. Rajendra Badgaiyan and Dr. Kenneth Blum. The three day summit was divided into different sessions of keynote, oral and poster presentations which brought together an interdisciplinary group of professionals working on neurological disorders.

Dr. Kenneth Blum (Co-Chairman of NDS-2017), Wright State University, USA delivered the first keynote lecture of NDS-2017 on “Customized DNA (Precision Medicine) Directed Nutrition to Balance the Brain Reward Circuitry and Reduce Addictive Behaviors”. Dr. Blum discussed about different products that reduce cravings and addiction by influencing gene expression. It was then followed by keynote lecture of Dr. Howard J Federoff on “Plasma Metabolomic Profiles and Cognitive Function” in which he spoke about the implications of plasma metabolomic signature with regard to cognitive function and potential implications for dementia. Dr. Zang-Hee Cho who developed world’s first circular ring PET presented on “Advances in Neuroimaging and Its Applications: From PET/MRI Fusion Imaging to Super-Resolution”. Dr. Michael Merzenich, a pioneer in neuroplasticity gave the keynote lecture on “Brain Plasticity and Brain Health”.

Post lunch, day one continued with a session on "Neurological Disorders: Symptomatology, Pathophysiology, and Etiology" and "Diagnostics of Neurological Disorders: Neuroimaging, Biomarkers and Laboratory studies" which was well appreciated by all the participants of the conference. The discussions then moved on to "Parkinson Disease and other Movement Disorders”, “Neuromuscular Disorders and Peripheral Neuropathies" and "Neurological Disorders: Prevention, Treatment, and Rehabilitation" with 20 speakers.

Day 2 started with the keynote of Dr. John M Baumann, an internationally-recognized inspiring success speaker diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease at the age of 41.
